Plain HTML
No build step, no framework. One tag on any page.
Create a project
Sign in, create a project, and note its slug.
Paste the tag before </body>
<script src="https://shipnoted.com/widget.js" data-project="your-slug" async></script>That is all. A button appears in the bottom corner. It renders in a shadow root, so your CSS cannot break it and it cannot break yours.
Options#
<script src="https://shipnoted.com/widget.js"
data-project="your-slug"
data-position="left"
data-label="Updates"
data-trigger="#whats-new"
async></script>data-position="left"puts the button bottom-left instead of bottom-right.data-labelchanges the button’s text.data-triggeropens the panel from your own button (a CSS selector) and hides ours.
Everything else, including opening it from code and identifying signed-in users, is on the Widget page.
Site builders#
Anywhere you can add custom code before the end of the page, paste the same tag: WordPress (a header/footer plugin or your theme’s footer), Webflow (Project settings, Custom code, Footer), Squarespace (Settings, Advanced, Code injection, Footer), Shopify (theme.liquid before </body>), Ghost (Code injection).
Or just link to it#
Your public pages are already a complete site. Link to https://shipnoted.com/p/your-slug, put it on your own domain from Settings, or point a menu item at /p/your-slug/feedback and /p/your-slug/roadmap.
