Terms of service

The service

Shipnoted, made by Ballmac, provides a hosted changelog, feedback board, roadmap, widget and related tools. You may use it for your own products and teams.

Your account

You sign in by email. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your email secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to use Shipnoted.

Your content

You own what you publish. You give us permission to host and display it for the purpose of running the service. You are responsible for your content and for having the right to publish it. Do not use Shipnoted to publish unlawful, deceptive or abusive material, or to send unsolicited email.

Email

You may only email people who have confirmed their subscription through Shipnoted, and you must honour unsubscribes. We may suspend sending if it is abused.

AI drafts

AI-drafted notes are suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and editing them before publishing. Nothing is published without your action.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. The founding lifetime deal is a one-time payment for Pro for as long as Shipnoted is offered. Taxes are added where they apply.

Free trial

Pro and Team subscriptions may start with a 14-day free trial. A payment card is required to begin it. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews and your card is charged the plan price, then again each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing portal.

Refunds

If Shipnoted does not work as described and we cannot fix it, contact us within 14 days of payment for a refund.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be uninterrupted. We may change features or these terms; for material changes we will tell account owners in advance.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
